LCC International University has once again proven that the quality of our study programs is not just a marketing myth – independent magazine Reitingai (eng. Rankings) ranked LCC’s International Business Administration program as well as English Language and Literature program to be the best among similar programs offered by other Lithuanian universities. Theology program came in second among the best in the country.

For the first time in Lithuania, institutions were ranked in 70 dominating study areas, with the overall number of study programs reaching 1600. University study areas were evaluated after interviewing more than 2,000 employers, reviewing specific research areas of the faculty publications in the past five years, scientific development, the highest and the lowest score for admission criteria, the number of freshmen with highest grades from high school, the GPA of first-year students. The evaluation of Lithuanian higher education institution accrediting bodies was also taken into account.

According to Jonė Kučinskaitė, the author of methodology and one of the editors at Reitingai, some universities are very small, and specialize in just a few areas. Nevertheless they managed to perform exceptionally well. She praised small universities like LCC, “In these institutions the overwhelming majority of the study programs are of the highest quality.”

At the moment, LCC offers five Bachelor level programs with the sixth one – a B.A. in International Relations and Development – still in development.
